As absurd as that sounds, it's a sort of start off of which we may be able to attract more Robotech fans. Maybe I'm off-base here, but the majority of well-known Robotech sites are ABSOLUTELY DOMINATED by Americans and their way of seeing things. While I myself can admit to be an American, firstly I seem to usually be seen as "unconventional" in this sense, and secondly I am adventurous enough to be able to appreciate that the opinions of people from other cultures are worthwhile.
Harmony Gold sure doesn't do this, but hell, when one starts comparing himself to them, it's like patting yourself on the back for getting out of bed in the morning.
Anyway, one of the most unique aspects of this entire website is that it is clearly operated and populated by a lot of non-American English speakers. Perhaps this is an angle off of which we can attract more people--"The U.E.G.! Where we represent Earth instead of America plus foreigners who love America!"--Absurd? Yeah, but it's true. I know for a fact that there are guys on Robotech.com from England, Sweden, New Zealand, and Australia (who aren't there just because they're in the United States' military) and I feel sorry for the guys because they clearly can't speak their minds and views which differ from the American norm for fear of being overrun by a flood of American fools who wouldn't even understand why this difference exists.
Where The U.E.G. stands differently is in this international flavour. I say: Consider using it.

This already is a Non-American Robotech Site, starting from he fact the Site's staff is non American. I have always done my best to fight against a narow USA perspective on the world around...( aka We are the best...and the rest of the world SUCKS)....
