Surprise, surprise! Canadians vote NO on Robotech. Why? Is it becauseo of the show itself? It's crappy timeslot?

Whatever. (The bad timeslot excuse will be used to no end by fans, naturally...)

It's quite amusing that the webmaster of Harmony Gold "quietly" deleted this news item from Robotech.com.

As read on Zannen.ca, it seems that Space Channel has removed Robotech from their airing schedules. Their reason is stated as poor ratings.

Well no surprise there. For its short run on Space, Robotech was given a mid morning, weekday timeslot. Ouch. I don’t know who they were aiming it at but apparently whoever it was, they’re hoping will be more appeased with Robotech’s replacement: more Relic Hunter reruns.

Was it due to crappy timeslot? Or is Robotech really just for old farts now?

The "official" reason is bad timeslot. The other reason? Robotech just plain isn't relevant today anymore.

Offcourse they canceled it. The original series is ok for us "the OLD fans..) . But it simply cant do for the todays youngsters..

....
