- You perfectly understand that by saying SC - the HDZ members are reffering to the "Shadow Chronicles" . And also by saying CANON - they reffer to the current YUNE CANON - Or the official CANON at the moment..( regardless to what some fo us might thing about that..


We're all on the same side here. As long as we all think current YUNE leadership of robotech "SUCKS" , it really doesnt matter how do we call it ( SC, TSC, RTSC....)..


Just let the people call it how ever they want..

I am member of that fan club, and you are so wrong aschiller becasuse the secong generation of robotech is NOT SOUTHERN CROSS, but called THE Robotech Masters!
So cannot be possible that we are insulting the second generation, becuase you DON´KNOW HOW IS THE REAL NAME!

In any case lets not continue this arguement.. Because there is no any reason for that. Just as i said, we're all on the same side here..

To say one thing in favor of Adam, anyone who is against Shadow Chronicles should have in mind that after the pie incident, who led to the spread in internet of the news of 'unhappy with Shadow Chronicles fan pied Shadow Chronicles director' together with 'Shadow Chronicles story creator and producer fired' Funanimation cut off funding for a Shadow Chronicles sequel. I dont think anyone of us can be associated with the funding cut off of a shadow chronicles sequel, but he can.

In the other hand Adam, if you want to be picky you are choosing people in the wrong side, the same side you are. They arent Shadow Chronicles fans, they arent Macross is everything fans, they like the Southern Cross or the Robotech Masters or whatever any of you want to call it, and they are Sentinels fans, just as you are. They even has exclusive Untold Story merchandising material no one in the entire world has. If you want to be picky with someone who thinks Untold Story is better out of the Robotech continuity, that's me, but open a topic in any Robotech section, not here.

Well let´s finish this deal.

I'm a big fan of the work done so far on the by the UEG for this movie. Though a disturbing amount of this site seems to be dedicated to bashing Shadow Chronicles, I'll have to live with that. I really hope that the UEG can finish the movie and at least get HG saying "We can't have a bunch of amateurs showing us up, increase the CG budget!"

we will surly try to do our best regarding the CG yet we don't have any budget. Just wish we had, then we could create something truly awesome. We are all just doing this as fans in our spare time, that's why its often taking so long to let you guys see something new.

Regarding the Shadow Chronicles, a large amount of the Robotech fans is just not happy with the choices they made for that movie, including most of our team. If it was just the CG then it wouldn't even bother me, as I just like to see a good character and storyline. However they broke the golden rule and made the mistake that this new story no longer fits with the old tv series. The only way to explain the SC now is that its living in some kind of parallel universe.

We don't censure anything on our forums, as we think everyone should have the freedom to speak his/her own mind. As long as they don't start attacking people on a personal level.

In any case, when this project is over we are going to start our own none Robotech related Mecha Anime series (script already being worked on). As it is just not possible to urn any money with this Robotech Genesis project, just too many license related issues.

So for now we will just continue our Genesis project as a sort of protest.
